This is big news at the Falcao house, because it means that a year went by without us killing it!! We were starting to get a little bit worried as we watched every other Crape Myrtle in Austin bloom, but I guess ours was just biding it’s time so it could make a grand entrance. And it succedded- the color is really beautiful! We’ll post more pictures when all of the buds bloom- it really is a great tree to have because it will bloom until late October.

I promise this isn’t the only exciting thing going on in our lives- hey, we’re the F’s, there’s always something interesting in the works!! But, as usual, you’ll just have to wait! I love keeping my 2 loyal readers in suspense- just kidding, you know who you are, so don’t worry, it will be nothing new to you :)
