First Anniversary

August 6th, 2006 by Eric

Well, it’s been a great and fun year filled with love, but Ellie and I decided today that we really need to pick up the slack and do more with our life next year. Haha just kidding. Yes, it’s been a busy year but we’ve loved every moment. They say the first year of marriage is always the hardest, so based on that logic, the rest will be a piece of carrot cake (our favorite! but no raisins says Ellie)

For anyone who wasn’t at our rehearsal dinner, we randomly handed out 50 cards (to represent our first through fiftieth anniversaries) and asked the recipient to write us an anniversary note. Check out the first card we opened today. It’s from Kelly, one of Ellie’s oldest and dearest friends who was also a bridesmaid at our wedding.

We love you all and thank you for supporting us this past year.

P.S. Sorry Kelly, there’s no baby yet but there is always next year!
