This past weekend we were very happy to host my parents at our house. It was the first time they had seen the place post-construction and we were really proud to show them the progresss we have made thusfar. We enjoyed relaxing times on the patio listening to the quiet, warm breeze. We had lunch on the lake, bbq’d and took it easy. Very nice!

Of course we did some work: Our generous guests gave us a housewarming gift: a kitchen table, chairs and a new kitchen light fixture! We assembled everything and we are so happy with the result. It seems like we have basically finished decorating the downstairs.

Thanks mom and dad, we had a fun time and we can’t wait to see you again.
