Our House!
The busy year continues! First our wedding, then a cross-country move and now this- today we signed a contract on our first house! We are absolutely in love with it! It is in the neighborhood that I mentioned in an earlier post, but a different floor plan and different lot than we originally considered.
Our house, by the numbers: 4 beds, 2.5 bathrooms, 2500 sq. ft., 2 living and 2 dining areas. (Lots of room for future babies and HOUSE GUESTS, hint, hint) Expected date of completion: Valentine’s Day, 2006 (Pretty good V-day gift to eachother, huh?).
Other nice tidbits: Fabulous covered patio, open kitchen, fireplace, vaulted entry/living room, great community pool and playground and views of the 340 acres of protected open space from our front yard.
We took a few pictures today, and we hope you enjoy them. Unfortunately our lens was dirty and there are quite a few spots on the pictures. We’ll try and get a few more pictures sometime next week.
We’ll keep you updated on the progress of our house over the next few months.

I just finished showing Grandma and Grandpa your new house. They are so very proud. And beside themselves, how I got the pictures so fast on the computer. This is all so new to them.

Oh!!!! Ellie and Eric we are so proud of you for this great decision–and we love your house. We had so much fun looking (and looking) at houses with you and were so very impressed by your due diligence and the careful way you went about the process. We are certain that you will be very happy there and can’t wait to accumulate wonderful memories with our family in Texas. Love always, Mom and Dad
