I was noticing that we haven’t posted anything in a while, but nothing really exciting has happened until recently- My mom and dad came to visit and Sarah turned 30!! Haha we really had her fooled! On the day of her birthday we took her out to dinner and had a great time hearing all about their trip to Machu Picchu and reminicing with mom and dad about chasing ice cream trucks when we were younger. Little did she know that her sneaky husband had planned a beautiful surprise party for her at the Getty!! All week Jason and I conspired to figure out how to get her up there without her figuring it out, how to get her dressed up without her figuring it out, how to plan to have us be there right at 3:30 without her figuring it out- whew, it was a lot of work! In the end it turned out to be a really wonderful night- and she didn’t figure it out, go us!! Sarah and Jason have really cool friends and we always enjoy every get-together we have with them. Today we received an invitation to their Host a Murder Mystery party, which will be another opportunity to hang out with them- how fun! I am sooooo excited about it.
